Originally from Santiago, Chile, Andrea Lira moved to the United States in 2002 to study Animation at the Savannah College of Arts and Design. With a background in drawing and dancing, she found inspired by the multitude of cultures and new technologies. Since then, she is been doing Animation and short videos and participated in several animation film festivals. Then in to 2005 move to New York to work as a designer at a production studio. At the moment she works as a freelance animator and continue exploring the language of video and animation and recently has finished her MFA at Parsons The New School for Design.
